1. Who we are

EntreMD (“EntreMD,” “we,” “us,” or “our“) is a physician-focused business education and coaching company founded by Dr. Nneka Unachukwu (“Dr. Una”). We help physicians build profitable businesses through the EntreMD Business School, coaching programs, the EntreMD Podcast, books, and free resources.

  • Operating/legal entity: Dr. Una Academy LLC (operating as “EntreMD”)
  • Location / principal place of business: Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA
  • Mailing address: 603 Old Norcross Rd, Ste A, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, USA
  • Email: hello@entremd.com

For the purposes of the EU/UK GDPR and similar laws, EntreMD is the “data controller” of the personal information described in this Policy. Our technology providers (for example, Kajabi, which hosts our landing pages, checkout, and membership area, and our WordPress host) act as our “processors” / “service providers.”

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information collected automatically, and information we receive from third parties.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Contact & lead information — your name, email address, and (where offered) phone number, submitted through opt-in forms, newsletter/”Scoop” sign-ups, contact forms, book/resource downloads, and event/open-house registrations.
  • Account & enrollment information — details you provide when you enroll in the EntreMD Business School, a coaching program, or another paid offering hosted on Kajabi, including login credentials and membership/course activity.
  • Communications & content — messages, survey responses, comments, community posts, testimonials, and any information you choose to share with us or in a member community.
  • Payment information — when you make a purchase, your payment card and billing details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processors (Kajabi Payments / Stripe and PayPal), not stored on our own servers. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited billing details (such as name, email, and the last digits/brand of the card), but not full card numbers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

  • IP address and approximate location (derived from IP);
  • device, browser, and operating-system information;
  • pages viewed, referring/exit pages, links clicked, and time on page;
  • podcast-player interactions (via our podcast host);
  • cookies, pixels, and similar identifiers (see Sections 3–4).

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from advertising and analytics partners (for example, aggregated ad-performance and audience data from Meta and Google), from social platforms when you interact with our profiles or ads, and from partners who refer you to us.

We do not intentionally collect special-category / sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data) through the Site. Please do not submit sensitive information through our forms.

pastedGraphic.png

3. Cookies & similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device; pixels/tags are small pieces of code that load from a third party. We and our partners use them to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure traffic and performance, and — where permitted — deliver and measure advertising. We group them into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site, forms, login, checkout, and security to work (for example, Kajabi session and anti-forgery cookies, and our host/CDN cookies). These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics / performance — help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it (for example, Google Analytics 4).
  • Marketing / advertising — used to measure our ads and to show you relevant ads on other platforms, including remarketing (for example, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads).

Where consent applies (see Section 15), we ask for your consent before setting non-essential (analytics and marketing) cookies, and you can withdraw consent or change your preferences at any time. Where the opt-out model applies (for example, most of the United States), you can opt out of non-essential cookies and of “sale”/”sharing” as described in Sections 7 and 9. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Consent status (transparency note). We are implementing a cookie-consent mechanism across the Site so that, for visitors in regions requiring prior consent (the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), non-essential cookies and tags load only after consent is given. If you are viewing a version of the Site before that mechanism is fully live in your region, you may use the browser and platform opt-out controls in Section 7.

5. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, and secure the Site, forms, checkout, and membership areas;
  • deliver the products, programs, coaching, and content you request or purchase;
  • process payments and manage your account, enrollment, and access;
  • respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
  • send you transactional messages (registration, receipts, course/program updates);
  • send you marketing communications where permitted (see Section 10);
  • measure and improve our content, offers, website, and events;
  • market and advertise our programs, including measuring ad performance and showing relevant ads and remarketing (see Section 6);
  • detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security, and legal issues; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Legal bases (EEA/UK GDPR). Where GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (for non-essential cookies, marketing emails, and ad targeting); performance of a contract (to provide programs/purchases you request); our legitimate interests (to run, secure, measure, and improve our business, balanced against your rights); and legal obligation (for tax, accounting, and compliance). You may withdraw consent at any time.

pastedGraphic.png

6. Analytics, advertising & remarketing

We use the following analytics and advertising services. Where required, these load only after consent; you can also opt out using the controls in Section 7.

6.1 Google Analytics 4 (via Google Site Kit)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect usage information (such as pages viewed and approximate location) on our behalf. Where Google Analytics Advertising Features are enabled, we and third-party vendors (including Google) may use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) together with third-party cookies (such as Google advertising cookies) to inform, optimize, and measure advertising. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6.2 Google Ads & remarketing

We use, or may use, Google Ads (including remarketing/”data segments”) to advertise EntreMD online and to measure conversions. In connection with this:

  • We use data to advertise online.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the Internet.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to our website.
  • You can opt out of Google’s personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com, and via the industry opt-out tools listed in Section 7.

6.3 Meta Pixel & Custom Audiences (Facebook / Instagram)

We use the Meta Pixel (pixel ID 603865536932374) on both our website and our Kajabi landing pages to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand actions people take, and build audiences. This includes Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences, and retargeting, so we can show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site or engaged with us. Meta and other third parties use cookies and identifiers to provide these features. You can control the ads you see and how your activity is used through Meta’s Ad Preferences (https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences) and Accounts Center (https://accountscenter.facebook.com/).

6.4 Other measurement

Our podcast host (Buzzsprout) provides aggregate download/play statistics for the EntreMD Podcast. Kajabi provides built-in visitor and conversion analytics for our landing pages.

We do not run third-party display-network / programmatic ad units (such as Google AdSense) on the Site; we use the services above for our own advertising and measurement only.

pastedGraphic.png

7. Your advertising & tracking choices

You can limit or opt out of interest-based advertising and analytics using any of the following:

Opting out of interest-based ads does not stop all ads — you may still see non-personalized ads.

pastedGraphic.png

8. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers / processors — companies that host and operate the Site and provide services on our behalf, under contract, including: Kajabi (landing pages, forms, checkout, membership, and email), our WordPress host, Kajabi Payments / Stripe and PayPal (payments), Buzzsprout (podcast hosting), and our analytics providers.
  • Advertising & analytics partnersGoogle and Meta, as described in Section 6, for measurement and advertising (this activity may be treated as “sharing”/”targeted advertising” under US state laws — see Section 9).
  • Professional advisors — lawyers, accountants, and auditors, as needed.
  • Legal & safety — where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EntreMD, our users, or others, or to enforce our Terms.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

pastedGraphic.png

9. “Selling” / “sharing” of personal information (US state laws)

Some US state privacy laws (such as the California CCPA/CPRA and similar laws in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and other states) define “sale” and “sharing” / “targeted advertising” broadly. Our use of cookie-based advertising and analytics (for example, the Meta Pixel and Google advertising cookies) may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising,” under those laws — even though we do not sell your data for money.

You have the right to opt out of this activity. You can do so by:

  • using our cookie banner / “Your Privacy Choices” preferences control (where shown);
  • enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser (we honor GPC — see Section 17); and/or
  • using the ad-industry opt-outs in Section 7.

We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

pastedGraphic.png

10. Email & marketing communications

When you opt in (for example, to our newsletter/”Scoop,” a free resource, or an event) or become a customer, we may send you marketing and educational emails about EntreMD’s programs, content, and events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting hello@entremd.com. We will still send you necessary transactional messages (such as receipts, account, and program notices). We identify ourselves in our emails and honor unsubscribe requests, consistent with CAN-SPAM and (for Canadian recipients) CASL.

pastedGraphic.png

11. Third-party links & platforms

The Site links to and integrates with third-party platforms, including Kajabi, Amazon (where our books are sold), social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X/Twitter), and podcast apps. When you follow a link to, or transact on, a third-party platform, that platform’s own privacy policy and terms govern your information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites and encourage you to review their policies. Purchases of our books through Amazon are governed by Amazon’s terms and privacy policy.

pastedGraphic.png

12. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our services, maintain your account and purchase records, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type — for example, we keep account and transaction records for the period required by law, and marketing contact data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping). When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

pastedGraphic.png

13. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, and we rely on established platforms (Kajabi, Stripe, PayPal) that maintain their own security programs — including PCI-DSS compliance for payment processing and encryption in transit (TLS/SSL). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

pastedGraphic.png

14. Children’s privacy

The Site and our programs are intended for physicians and other adult professionals and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact hello@entremd.com and we will delete it.

pastedGraphic.png

15. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. To exercise a right, email hello@entremd.com (subject line “Privacy Request”). We will verify your request (which may require confirming information that matches our records) and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

15.1 United States — California (CCPA/CPRA) and other states

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you (subject to exceptions).
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the “sale”/”sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising (see Section 9); honor of GPC (Section 17).
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive PI for purposes requiring this right).
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights; and, for California residents, the “Shine the Light” right regarding disclosures for third-party direct marketing.

Californians can also use the “Your Privacy Choices” control (where shown) to opt out.

15.2 EEA, UK & Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR / FADP)

You have the right to: access; rectification; erasure; restriction; object to processing (including direct marketing and profiling); data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO); in the EEA, your national data protection authority. Our legal bases are described in Section 5.

15.3 Canada (PIPEDA / Quebec Law 25)

You have the right to access and correct your personal information and to withdraw consent to non-essential processing. You may direct requests to hello@entremd.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.

pastedGraphic.png

16. International data transfers

EntreMD is based in the United States, and our providers (Kajabi, Google, Meta, Stripe, PayPal, Buzzsprout) process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, and processed in, the United States and other jurisdictions that may have different data- protection laws than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK Addendum, offered by our processors.

pastedGraphic.png

17. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Because there is no consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track (DNT)” browser signals, our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, we do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: where your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the “sale”/”sharing” of personal information and targeted advertising for that browser/device, and — as a conservative measure — we also treat it as an opt-out of non-essential analytics.

pastedGraphic.png

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (for example, on the Site or by email). Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy. We review this Policy periodically and whenever our trackers, vendors, or business practices change.
